The HACKER MR-2 SERIES MICROTOME is a fully retracting microtome that delivers all the
features you need for reliable routine sectioning of paraffin embedded sections. The
precision microfeed system delivers fully adjustable section thickness for 0.5 to 60μm and a
full feed range of up to 28mm. Cross roller bearings allow smooth vertical specimen
movement. All knife holders fit directly onto the horizontal guideway.
The HACKER MR-2 SERIES MICROTOME allows the user to preselect the section thickness,
then push the quick trim lever and turn the handwheel to automatically trim the specimen by
10 or 30μm. Other features include quick change specimen clamp, rotatable fine orientation
of the specimen on both x and y axis, interchangeable knife holders, integrated lockable
hand wheel and a warning alarm at feed range limit. In addition the HACKER MR-2 SERIES
MICROTOME offers specimen retraction and section counter with LCD display, and an
integrated section waste tray.
